Between August and September of 2018 PlanIt released several new features.

Self Scheduling

For any employee who works a different schedule day-by-day, depending on workload, you can grant them access to add their hours to the schedule themselves. This was requested by several law enforcement agencies that have Detectives which work irregular shifts.

Signature Lines on Time Sheets

On the PDF Timesheet report, you have the option to add a signature line for employees and/or supervisors during printing.

Text to Speech Options with Voice Blasts

Instead of recording a message out loud, you can type in a message and the system will convert it to a standard voice.

Sorting the Schedule by Job Types

Create custom sorting of your job types within the system overriding alphabetical sorting.

Adding Day Labels and Color Codes to Days

You can label days and set color coding that follows a particular pattern. This feature is commonly used by agencies that implement a 24 or 12 hour schedule. If there is a pattern followed every few days, departments may want to color code and label the day so employees can easily see when they are working.
