PlanIt Police scheduling software has a new view of the schedule for all employees, called the "Platoon Schedule View". The view is centered on each platoon displaying in a one month schedule. Our vision was to reproduce the paper schedules we often see during the setup process for new departments coming onto PlanIt Police.

The Platoon Schedule is the first view that only has administrator configuration options. This departure from our employee configuration options allows you as an administrator to clearly define exactly how the schedule will look for everyone.

To see the new view, use the My Information menu and select "The Schedule". The calendar view of the schedule is still there, but you'll see an option for a "Platoon Schedule" at the top.

To configure how the new view looks for your department, visit the Settings page found within the System menu. You will be looking for Schedule Settings -> Platoon Schedule.

If you would rather not use the platoon schedule at all, you can disable it on the same settings Page under "Universal Settings" within the Schedule Settings category. Conversely, if you would prefer the Platoon Schedule to be your default view of the schedule for your department you can do so in the Universal Settings page.
