Typically, PlanIt Police customers pay employees based on scheduled hours and overtime forms. But if your police department or sheriff’s office need to use an online employee time clock, we do have that option. The integrated time clock is included with the system. Employees will clock in and out with their username and password.

You can designate a computer as the only device employees are able to clock in and out on. There is also the option to turn on the web time clock. This will allow employees to clock in from any device. So, for example, if their shift technically starts when they get into their patrol car, they can clock in right from there.

There are different settings and parameters you can designate for how early/late employees can clock in and require them to state a reason. You’ll always have the audit trail of punches in the system, along with an option to edit and adjust punches as needed.
