Compensation Options

While setting up Overtime Forms for your police officers, you can enter different options for compensation. Most departments allow the option to either receive paid time or Time Off credit to a bank. Some departments also offer flex time.

If the officer chose to get paid and its approved, those hours will go right into the payroll export. If the officer choses to get Time Off credit, those hours will get multiplied by whatever multiplier you have set (typically time and a half), and will go into their time off comp bank for them to use later.

All codes are customizable with their own multiplier rates and the option to choose default or forced compensation.
