We have been to all 3 of these in the past(as exhibitors) and asked the opinions of those who attended. There is so much to see and learn about as equipment and technology improve more each year.

1. IACP - The International Association of Chiefs of Police

The 124th annual IACP conference and expo is in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on October 21-24th this year.

It is the world’s largest gathering of law enforcement officials. Professionals from federal, state, county, local, and tribal agencies attend.

The conference will fill you with valuable insight while the expo will expose you to many different gadgets and systems that can streamline the work you do on a daily basis.

Last year, the IACP was held in San Diego, California. It hosted over 720 exhibitors and 228 educational sessions with over 10,000 professionals attending. Each year the conference is held somewhere different.

2. Police & Security Expo

The Police and Security Expo is hosted by the New Jersey State Association of Chiefs of Police.

It will take place June 27th and 28th. This exposition has grown more every year and this will be their 31st year. It is held in Atlantic City, New Jersey every year.

Over 7,000 industry professionals are expected to attend this year. It has the best of everything for law enforcement from computer software to body armor and guard dogs.

3. State Police Chiefs Association

We attend the Pennsylvania Chiefs of Police Association Conference since our headquarters are in PA but there are conferences in every state held by the Police Chiefs Associations.

While some may be small, they are a good way to connect with surrounding departments and discuss trends specific to your location.
